How to Use Twitter to Grow Your Business
One way I use Twitter to grow my business is for sharing resources’ links I find on the web to inform, help and/or inspire my followers. Since I’m not a celebrity, I understand that other people have interest in what I’m reading, learning, and appreciating and not in what I’m having for dinner, or where I am to ask for my autograph.
My tweets are from “Delicious” (yes…I do love “Delicious” still), others are from the feeds I read every day, and I also send some retweets. Because our messages in Twitter should have less than 140 characters, I like to shorten the URL in Bit.ly, and sometimes I use AddThis. Some people tweet a lot, for example Brian K. McDaniel had more than 570 tweets this week, and I can not beat him. But for curiosity, I decided to check how many tweets I shared in March of 2010. The result was 146 tweets, including the retweets. Below is my weekly list in case you have missed them.

Hi UD,
I found your blog because I saw your elevator pitch post over in the 31 Day Challenge.
I love Twitter. I just found out today I can “star” tweets I enjoy. All this time I have been thinking I must either retweet or reply. I learned I can hit the star and say “I like this” while investigating the Favstar application tonight. I love following Twitter_Tips because they retweet a lot of good Twitter information.
I think if you have a link or a button for people to follow you on Twitter it isn’t necessary to list you past tweets on your blog because anyone interested can go to your profile and see your history.
I will be leaving an opinion of your elevator pitch over in the 31 Day forum.
Love those photos of Greece on the last post.
